Learn the basic of Max and Max For Live from the master! Gregory Taylor will be teaching a workshop May 22nd and 23rd at re-new 2010 that will cover Max and Max For Live. There is a limit of 18 seats available so sign up early.

This workshop is specifically for new users of Max or Max for Live, and is intended to provide an introduction to Max, MSP, and Jitter together as a unit in the context of Max and Max for Live. It concentrates on the basics of working with Max users in a variety of situations including audio and image processing.

The topics to be covered in the workshop include an overview of Max, MSP, and Jitter objects in their Max and Max for Live environments, basic audio and video processing techniques, strategies for patch design, user interface design, techniques for better patching, and learning & problem solving.

This workshop places an emphasis on strategies for learning that can be applied after the workshop ends.

Participants are required to bring their own Windows or Mac laptops with the current version of Max (includes Max for Live support) installed.

Cost for participation is DKK 200 which includes lunch both days and entry to re-new 2010. Contact our coordinator to sign up.
