re-new is proud to host the Emotion & Design and Structured Understanding of Music symposiums.

The E&D symposium narrows in on the capture and usage of emotion in product and service development, while the conference focuses on bridging the gap between sensory input, perception, and the creation of meaning, presenting examples of future products and services that may benefit from this.

The SUM symposium will focus on emotion in music. It will feature hard- and software developed in the SUM project and its usage in various context. Some of these examples will be in the form of performances in re-new 2010.

The daily schedule for the symposiums will be announced on March 1st.
