re-new 2013 open for submissions
re-new 2013 will integrate festival and conference into one, big event which will take place
October 29 – November 1, 2013
at PB43, Copenhagen, Denmark.
The deadline for academic and artwork submission is
June 15, 2013
and all submissions will be peer-reviewed.
Conference Chair is Gunalan Nadarajan, University of Michigan and Festival Senior Curator is Edward A. Shanken, University of Memphis
re-new 2013 will attempt to outline The Big PIcture as a confluence of art, science and technology.

The Steering Committee for re-new 2013 includes representatives from Copenhagen Institute for Interaction Design , The IT-University, Aalborg University, The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts’ School of Design and Athelas. The Advisory Board consists of international experts in media art, technology, theory, curating and production.
